September 6th!!

Today was another awesome day in Kindergarten. During Daily 5 we practiced reading to ourselves. We are building our stamina!! Guess what...We read for 5 whole minutes today without getting distracted! Way to go, class!

For snack we had pretzels and juice. Yummy! We went to Media today for Specials. We practiced the fire drill in Media.
After lunch, we counted how many letters were in our name. Some of us have 4 letters and others even have 7 letters in our name. Most of the children in our classroom have 6 letters in their name. That was a very fun activity.

Work centers were a lot of fun today. We put stickers on our names, made a color turtle, glued t pictures on t shirts and played with play dough.

We drew and wrote in our journals today about stuff we love to do. Here are some things we love to do:
- Dylan loves to eat.
- Jazmin loves to play with play dough.
- Myonna loves to play.
- Selena loves to do math.
- Levi loves to go outside.
- Jacee loves to play with her pets.
- Hanna loves to play on the computer.
- Wesley loves to play with blocks.

During math we explored with unifix cubes and pattern blocks. It was a lot of fun!





We practiced our colors today by singing a very fun color song. Some of us got to play a color game with our high school helper, Miss Mary!!


We can't wait for another fun day in Kindergarten tomorrow! School is so much fun!
