Fall is almost here!!

We had another great day in Kindergarten. Even though it rained all day long, we had fun in school! We are talking about Fall and the letters m and n this week.

This morning, we drew a necklace and a moon in our letter journals. We copied the words from Mrs. Deaton's board.


We did two rounds of Daily 5 today. Everyone worked really hard to build stamina and read to ourselves. Some people got to do iStation on the computers. We really like playing on the computers.






During recess, we had to stay inside. We danced and sang to the High Five video. We liked it so much!

This week we are talking about the season of Fall.

Here is what we did in work centers today....
We put scarecrows in order from 1-10. We sorted m and n pictures by sounds. Some people made a moose and some made a mouse. We put pattern block shapes on a scarecrow. We also made a fall tree.



Math centers were fun today, too. Some people got to play on IXL.com on the computer. Other people got to play pattern blocks, unifix cubes and geoboards. Wesley sorted his unifix cubes by color. Wow! Kamila made patterns with her cubes. Good job! Jatzibe made shapes on her geoboard. Way to go!
