After PE, we took a short break and then went outside to the front of the school to hear some stories. Mrs. Overcash read a lot of stories to us. While we were outside, it started pouring rain. We were happy that we were under the cover. It started lightening and thundering so we came inside early. Mrs. Deaton and Mrs. Feller gave us some popsicles when we came back inside.
Because of the rain, we took a break before doing our last two rotations. We got to watch "Rio" while we ate lunch together in the classroom. "Rio" is a great movie! After lunch we went outside for Art. We got to use sharpie markers to color stuffed animals. These were the animals we colored: fish, elephants, dogs and pigs. It was really fun!
The last thing we did was have a dance party in the gym. We got to sing and dance together. It was really silly. We danced to Despicable Me, Tooty Ta, 5 Little Monkeys, Crocodile Rock, Gummy Bears, Hokey Pokey and some others. We had a crazy time in there dancing with our teachers.
Some of us got to go throw glitter on Ms. Tucker after the dance party in the gym. If we brought a dollar into school, we got to go outside to do that. Ms. Tucker was so funny because she was standing in a small swimming pool and was wearing goggles. She does NOT like glitter so she squealed when we threw the cups of glitter on her. This was a very funny activity. The other kids who did not bring a dollar in stayed inside and played in free centers. They had a lot of fun too.
This was a very fun day in Kindergarten. We had a blast!! Here are some of our thoughts and feelings about FUN DAY....

"My favorite part was when we ran and poured water in the buckets. I was on the blue team." Ali
"I was on the red team. I liked when we ran with the rubber chickens." Adam
"I liked when we bounced on the big ball. I bounced high!" Adriyana
"When we were in the gym, we danced to songs. My favorite was Despicable Me." Christian
