Scary Things!

Everyone is scared of something... and that's okay. We have been talking about how we are all scared of things but they may be different than what other people are scared of. As a class, we made a list of things we are scared of. It was interesting to find out that some of our friends are scared of the same things we are scared of. After we made our list, we made a BOO book about what we are scared of!

Mooresville Firefighters Visit South!!

A really awesome thing that happened on Friday was a special visit from the Mooresville Fire Department. Three firefighters came to our school to talk to us about fire safety. One of the firefighters was Bennett's daddy!  That was so cool!! 

The firefighters talked to us about how to stay safe if there is ever a fire and showed us what it looks like when they put all their gear on! Bennett's daddy, Mr. Jordan, is the one who put the gear on for us. We know not to be scared of the firefighters, even when they are in their full gear. Because it was raining, we didn't get to see their firetruck.  It was still really fun though!

Sparky also came to visit! Sparky is so sweet!

Lazy 5 Ranch!

Our first field trip in Kindergarten was, by far, one of the best days we have had so far! We went to Lazy 5 Ranch on Wednesday, October 24th and had a BLAST! During our time at Lazy 5 Ranch, we rode a wagon ride pulled by two huge horses, fed a ton of awesome animals, played in a corn pit, climbed on an awesome haystack with tunnels and even got to pick out our very own pumpkin. We really enjoyed feeding the llamas, emus, giraffes and more while on the wagon ride! We got to walk around the ranch after our wagon ride to see lemurs, goats, birds and camels. Our class had so much fun together and will always remember our first field trip together. It was an amazing day!
