Polar Express Day

We have had such an awesome short week in Kindergarten!  We dressed up like the Grinch one day and cute reindeers the next!  Today, we got to wear our pajamas and bedroom shoes to school and even got to bring a sweet stuffed animal to cuddle with.  Yay!!

This morning, we had a delicious Holiday Breakfast provided by all of our amazing parents.  We had donuts, muffins, cookies, fruit, cheese and crackers, juice and more!

Mrs. Feller and Mrs. Meadows (Davis' mom) are ready to serve!

After Specials, we got tickets to "ride" our own Polar Express train (Mrs. Deaton punched them when we entered the train). We listened and watched the book on the SmartBoard and then retold the story with pictures! It was awesome!

The best part of the day was when we got a call from the office that a package was delivered to us from the North Pole!  Mrs. Deaton went to the office to get it and brought it back for us to see.  The box was FREEZING cold and there were real bells from Santa inside!  The bells were freezing too!  We were so excited and so happy!

The following video had to be separated into three different videos in order to be uploaded...

Right before we left for the day, Santa made a visit to our classroom.  We got to give him a quick hug before going to our bus or car!!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
