Fire Safety!!

Last week was a whirl wind!  We had such an awesome week learning about Fire Safety. We worked hard in Work Centers, Daily 5, Math Centers and Journal Writing.  We are such a smart group of kids!!

The highlight of our week was on Friday when we had a visit from the Mooresville Fire Department. Three firefighters came to our school with their really cool fire truck. Carter's daddy was one of the firefighters who came to our school. Sparky also came to visit!  The firefighters talked to us about fire safety and showed us what it looks like when they put all their gear on! Then, we got to walk through the truck and take a picture with Sparky!  The firefighters gave us some cool gifts... a hat, a badge, a pencil, a ruler, and a coloring book.  We love firefighters!!
