Apples and More!

We have had a very fun, busy week in Kindergarten!  This week, we learned about how Apple trees look and grow during all four seasons of the year.  We read "The Seasons of Arnold's Apple Tree" and made an awesome craft to decorate an apple tree for each season.  We also made a torn paper apple with a small paper plate and paper.

During math, we worked on recognizing, counting and building numbers 0-10. We glued apples on trees, ordered numbers on apples and practiced writing our numbers correctly. In Math Club, we practiced matching sets of numbers to the correct numeral.

We have a new student in our class!  We are excited to welcome Valeriia from Russia to our Kindergarten classroom.  We are going to have an awesome year with her in our class!!

We had a very special visitor this week!  Officer Walther and his police dog, Sadie, came by our classroom.  We got to pet Sadie and thank Officer Walther for his service.  It was awesome!

We love Kindergarten!!
