St. Patrick's Day and More!

We had such an awesome week in Kindergarten! At the beginning of the week, Dr. Cottone and Mrs. Sharpe passed out 2nd quarter brag tags for perfect attendance, reading and math. It was exciting to get new brag tags to put on our book bags!!

Perfect Attendance for 2nd Quarter

Reading Award for 2nd Quarter (Charlotte is missing)

Most Improved Award for 2nd Quarter

Math Award for 2nd Quarter (We counted to 50 in January!!)

We worked really hard in math this week learning about ways to make the number 10.  In literacy, we continued to work on our sight words, tapping out words and reading different kinds of books.  We learned all about St. Patrick's day this week as we read a ton of nonfiction books.  We wrote about what we would do if we found a pot of gold and we read some fiction books about leprechauns.  It was a great week!!

Something crazy happened on Friday! While we were at lunch, a sneaky little LEPRECHAUN came to our classroom! He made a complete mess of everything!! The leprechaun got into some green paint and left footprints all over the place.  He also left gold glitter everywhere and went potty in our toilet!  It was GREEN!! We had to clean up the mess all by ourselves.  We laughed a LOT when we saw what the sneaky little leprechaun did to our classroom!
