A Magical Christmas

Christmas time was awesome in Mrs. Deaton's and Mrs. Feller's Kindergarten class.  We did so many fun things throughout the month of December.

One week, we got to wear silly Christmas socks, dress up like Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer and dress in Christmas clothes.  It was really fun!

Guess what else happened?!?! Santa came to visit South Elementary School.  We all got to sit in his lap and take a picture. We also told him what we wanted for Christmas.  We love Santa!

The highlight of our month was celebrating Polar Express day. We wore our pajamas, got tickets to "ride" our own Polar Express train, listened and watched the book on the SmartBoard, retold the story with pictures and watch the movie together!

All of a sudden, in the middle of the afternoon, we got a call from the front office.  We were told that a package was delivered for us from the NORTH POLE!!  When we picked it up, we realized it really must be from the North Pole because it was FREEZING.  Inside the box was bells for all of us from Santa.  If we can hear the bells ring, that means we truly believe in the magic of Christmas.  Guess what! We can all hear the sounds of the bells... even our teachers can!!

At the end of the day, we had a Christmas party.  Lots of parents came in to bring treats and celebrate with us. It was so much fun!

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!!
