We put our morning work in our mailboxes and then we gather on the rug for Calendar time. We love to sing Hello Neighbor with all our friends. After this, we go to Letterland. Today, we rode a motorcycle to Letterland and we got to meet two new Letterlanders. Yesterday we met Fix it Max and Walter Walrus. Today, we met Yellow Yo-Yo Man and Zig Zag Zebra.
After Letterland, we go to Specials. We had TWO specials today! We went to PE and to the Library. We got to check out new books at the library! After Specials we usually go outside for recess. We have not gone outside at all this week! It has been rainy and wet so we have to do recess inside. Yesterday, Mrs. Deaton and Mrs. Feller let us have free centers during recess. Today, Mrs. Feller read us a big book and then we did GoNoodle on the SmartBoard. It was fun!
The next part of our day is really important. We do Daily 5! Yesterday, we made it all the way to 20 minutes for Read to Self. Mrs. Deaton and Mrs. Feller were so excited for us. Mrs. Deaton even did a cartwheel on the carpet. It was so funny. She did a great job! Today, we got to do a LOT of different things in Daily 5. Some of us did Read to Self. Some of us did iStation on the iPads. Some of us got to go to Book Club with Mrs. Deaton. Some of us did Working with Words.

We went to lunch after Daily 5. Lunch was delicious!! After lunch we did Work Centers.

The last thing we did was Math. We are learning about shapes in math this week. We talked about triangles yesterday and squares today. We sang some cool songs about shapes and watched a Brainpop Jr. video about them too. We did Math Centers all about numbers and shapes.

So far, this week has been fun, great, exciting and awesome. We love Kindergarten so much! KINDERGARTEN ROCKS!!!
