Read Across America

Our Read Across America week was so much fun! We did many math, literacy and art projects related to the Cat in the Hat and other Dr. Seuss books. We had a blast wearing our silly socks, wearing pajamas, dressing in wacky tacky clothes, dressing like a book character and wearing red, black and white to celebrate Dr. Seuss' birthday! We enjoyed having special guest readers read awesome books to us!

We also got to watch Mrs. Deaton's son, Connor, present his Living History project.  He did awesome as Jordan Speith, a professional golfer.

We enjoyed celebrating Davia's birthday and appreciated all of the wonderful treats her mom and aunt brought in to our class.

We are proud of our Student of the Month, Liam, for displaying so much Kindness to everyone he comes in contact with.

All in all, this was such a wonderful week!
