Our Read Across America week was so much fun! We did many math, literacy and art projects related to the Cat in the Hat and other Dr. Seuss books. We had a blast wearing our sports jerseys, pajamas, wacky tacky clothes, silly socks and red, black and white! We enjoyed having special guest readers from the Mooresville community, especially Dr. Debbie Marsh, a member of the MGSD school board, as The Cat in the Hat. We also loved Skyping with a real author and illustrator, Julie Fortenberry! Another highlight of our week was when we buddy read with a 3rd grade class. Scarlett and Iker have sisters in this third grade class! This has been an awesome week!
